Privacy Policy

Ova ("we") helps women with PCOS understand how meals affect their blood sugar and track their cycle and symptoms. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
• Quiz answers: your goals, symptoms, cycle pattern, eating habits, activity level and age range.
• Meal photos: sent to our AI provider to analyze the meal. We do not store the photo; we store only the result (meal name, score, nutrient estimates and suggestions).
• Daily check-ins: period flow, symptoms, sleep and notes you choose to enter.
• Subscription status: whether you have Pro and when it renews. Payments are processed by Apple, Google or Stripe; we never see your full card details.
• iPhone waitlist: if you leave your email on our website to hear when Ova is on the App Store, we use it only for that one email and then delete it.

How we use it

Only to run Ova: analyze your meals, build your plan, show your trends and weekly insights, manage your subscription, and keep the service secure. We do not use your health information for advertising.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database and sign-in
• Vercel — website hosting and AI gateway
• AI model providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic, through Vercel AI Gateway) — meal analysis and weekly insights
• Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Stripe — subscriptions and payments

These providers process data only to deliver their service to us.

Your choices

• Delete your account anytime from the Account screen in the app or on the website. This permanently deletes your profile, scans, check-ins and insights.
• Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it by emailing contact.pedrocunha@gmail.com.

Health information

Ova provides general wellness information, not medical advice, and is not a medical device. Please don't rely on it to diagnose or treat any condition.

Age

Ova is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
